On March 27th, Trudi Roy from Prime Solutions for Life, Inc. in Yucaipa, presented to residents at El Dorado Palms a video-based, instructor-led classroom course that taught the following:
Adult Hands-Only™ CPR
Adult AED use
Child CPR and AED use
Infant CPR.
This course also included how to relieve choking in an adult, child or infant.
Family & Friends® CPR offers training for those who want to learn CPR, but do not require a course completion card. It is geared towards:
Parents
Grandparents
Siblings
Relatives
Family friends
Community members
The class was sponsored by The Caritas Foundation and is the first step of a multi-step Disaster Preparedness Plan that is being organized by the residents.
